Argument 1: The New Big 12 is basically on par (in media rights $ and prestige) with the PAC12
Argument 2: USC, Oregon, Washington, UCLA will leave the PAC12 because they're tired of propping up a bunch of weak teams that are much less valuable than they are.
Argument 3: Those "weak" teams (like Arizona, Arizona St, Colorado and/or Utah) would be a major coup to be added to the Big 12
All three of those arguments can't simultaneously be true.
