Toy Story 4 opening $120 million, Toy Story 3 opening $110 million. Lightyear.... $51 million
Pretty bad for a movie with a $200 million production budget and an established story line and commercial success.
I've read various articles this morning on it and they seem to be theorizing that the poor showing is b/c Disney has released several films straight to Disney+ so people are just waiting for that.
Seems like Disney is at a crossroads where regardless, it will need to commit to one segment or another because it can't appease both anymore.

They did pretty well with Encanto ( Budget 120 - 150 million and Box office $256 million ). How about..
