Rumors out there are the B1G will almost double its current revenue in the next TV deal and make more than the SEC. Adding mountain and pacific time slots expands the B1Gs footprint and will get its fans to stay up to watch games. If the network gets those two non-conference games it is effectively spreading the B1Gs reach to huge markets in California, Phoenix, Seattle, and Denver. It is not the PAC driving that value increase but the B1G getting additional slots that don’t compete with existing ones that is. Of course, the PAC has to be compensated for that.
