I remember my wife and kids having great healthcare through the 90s and 00s. Now the similar coverage is over $1,000 a month with an $8,000 deductible. Essentially, we pay for everything AND pay for insurance.

Cobra is pretty expensive. You can go to your state's healthcare marketplace.
