krindorr Intervention Needed
Ran a poll on r/CFB about most desirable schools in Big 12/PAC12 that they'd want in a new conference

If they were going to build a conference out of the 22 teams (and any desired G5 teams), which would they want in it?  Just trying to get a feel for perceived value.

Results ended up as follows:

  1. Oklahoma St 96.4%
  2. Utah 91.7%
  3. Arizona 91.7%
  4. Oregon 85.8%
  5. Washington 85.7%
  6. Arizona St 85.7%
  7. Texas Tech 84.5%
  8. Colorado 75%
  9. Baylor 75%
  10. Kansas 73.8%
  11. BYU 72.6%
  12. Iowa St 71.4%
  13. TCU 69.1%
  14. Stanford 67.9%
  15. Houston 67.8%
  16. Cincinnati 66.7%
  17. Kansas St 64.3%
  18. West Virginia 53.5%
  19. Cal 46.4%
  20. UCF 39.3%
  21. Oregon St 26.2%
  22. Washington St 25%

Don't know that I 100% agree, but it's an interesting data point.  In any case, taking the top 15 there could be a lot of fun

  • West Pod: Oregon, Washington, Stanford
  • Mountain Pod: BYU, Utah, Colorado
  • Southwest Pod: Arizona, Arizona St, Texas Tech
  • Central Pod: Oklahoma St, Kansas, Iowa St
  • Texas Pod: Baylor, Houston, TCU

Play your pod and 2 of the 4 others each year gives an 8 game conference schedule
