But depends on the location and severity of the stroke. Some cause more physical limitations and some more cognitive/speech based on the brain location. TIAs are mini strokes that resolve without perm harm so hopefully that’s what he had if he’s already close to back to normal. Brain scans will indicate severity and location.

It does seem that more people are suffering strokes at younger ages. The most important thing is to get them into the hospital as quickly as possible to see if they need clot busting meds which are only effective in the first couple hours.

For hemorrhage strokes, they are usually caused by high blood pressure so bp control is important.
