1) Stay at 10 members and do nothing. This is not a long-term strategy. You can’t stay at 10 teams while most other major conferences are at 14 & 16.

2) Add best possible available G5 teams (SDSU & SMU).

3) Add best available P5.

4) Do all of these things while aggressively promoting your brand and coming up with innovative tv deals.

Now can the bain trust that is the PAC do this? Based on their recent track record no but they have the resources to do a whole lot better. It’s probably just too late but I think there’s still enough thete that with the right strategy they turn the ship around.
