The problem is they tend to concentrate on the starter home market. so ...
the 18% is much larger for that segment of the market. As the article I posted said, first-time homebuyers are the ones getting squeezed out. It's not all homeowners ... it's the first-time home owners. We're seeing it a lot in Provo. It's hard to compete for a home when someone can buy it and rent it out to 6 singles an inflated rate, which was happening when interest rates were so low.
