The Big XII doesn’t have to convince 6 or even 4 schools to join. They literally only have to convince 1. Once one domino falls, the rest fall in line. We are witnessing the prisoners dilemma played out in real time before our eyes. Thing is, despite the stiff-neckedness of Oregon and Utah fans, there are a growing number of posters on Az/ASU/CU’s fan boards that don’t want to tie their fates to Oregon and Washington, but want to take control of their own destinies. Only way to do that is by joining the big 12. If they stay, they’re just waiting for the day O leaves for greener pastures. If a single school decides they want to leave, game over
