The numbers reported were going to be close before UCLA and USC left. That
changes everything. USC and UCLA are reported to have brought 40% of the tv value to that contract. You take that away and it's no longer close.

I think he's right. Most fans feel more comfortable with what they want than reality substantiates. B12 fans, PAC fans,
