Seems like if they wanted Oregon/Washington, they have them already

What are they actually evaluating? Pretty sure they could take Oregon/Washington if they wanted to. Maybe they are going to slowplay it and see USC/UCLA do before they move forward with any other west coast schools, not sure?

I could see their academic association with Stanford being positive, accompanied with their brand. Cal would become a new doormat for them, but a weak program with a disinterested fanbase.

Not sure what it takes to get Miami/FSU in there, but that makes sense.
