I don't believe we are wrong. Colonoscopies every 3 years are indicated
If villous polys are detected, in certain genetic predispositions, or underlying conditions including ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease.

Because the range of recommendation for colonoscopies is every one year, 3 years, 5 years, or 10 years, saying "every few" is the best term to encompass all of those possible regimens.

Furthermore, colonoscopies are one of the very few screening tests that can both detect cancer early and also prevent initiation of cancer by clipping precancerous polyps before APC Gene dysregulation, thus making colon cancer a very appropriate answer to the poll question.
