Honestly this is sort of laughable.
San Clemente has several unbelievable beaches. Salt Creek in Dana Point is stunningly beautiful and easily accessible. Laguna has several beaches that are a little tricky to access but really empty and surrounded by unbelievable cliffs (Crescent Beach is a favorite). Crystal Cove is stunning. I’ve never seen a homeless person in Orange County south of Newport.

In San Diego, you can go to Torrey Pines and walk five minutes north and essentially have a private beach beneath the cliffs. Or you can go to Del Mar and walk five minutes south. Or stay on the Del Mar main beaches for really shallow water that is great for kids. Or go to Fletcher’s Cove in Solana. Family friendly with stunning bluffs. Or the main Cardiff beach is easy to access with wide sandy beaches.

I go to the Del Mar beach weekly and have never seen a homeless person.

There are hundreds of miles of beach that are absolutely fabulous.
