I just found out I GET to go to my wife’s cousin’s wedding vow renewal Sep 3…

In NY 4 hours away. All day affair, same day as BYU vs USF. I informed her that’s the same day as the 1st football game of the season and this is only a vow renewal ceremony and not even the actual wedding but then she said some stuff so now we are definitely going to the vow renewal ceremony in NY 4 hours away on the day of the 1st game of the season…

How big should I go in cashing in the credit for missing this game to go to a vow renewal ceremony? Is there any ask too big to compensate for this experience?
