Do they happen when she gets fevers? My second child has had a couple of febrile
Seizures in her life. They both happened when she was young about a year old. Basically their body has a hard time processing the spike in temperature and has a seizure. They typically happen in the first 24 hours of a newly onset fever.

The doctor said that they don't have any long-term impacts and that she should eventually grow out of them. She hasn't had any in the last 4-5 years.

Apparently it's genetic and my dad suffered from them as a young child as well.
