That's using UA's out-of-state Cost of Attendance of $53,364 x 5 years. Plus UA has one of the highest 'cost of attendance stipends', reportedly around $6k.

That doesn't include all the other perks scholarship players get (like early class enrollment, never having to hunt down a class book.. they just show up in lockers...etc)

... Also, non-scholarship players still have to register with the NCAA clearinghouse and are held by MOST of the NCAA rules. So i'm still waiting to understand what complications a scholarship player has over a walk-on?
