QB position, why would anyone constantly find themselves on team eyeore when it comes to any of the BYU QB recruits? We as fan often know little to nothing about these kids other than what we can scour off the internet, yet for some reason we always seem to watch pretty good QB play year in year out. Yes it isn't seamless as we have witnessed a season here or there where the QB play wasn't up to usual standards, however it is that experience that we can claim usual standards that imo would boggle the mind of anyone who looks at BYU's history and is stuck in a room or at a game listening to everyone shouting for either the backup, or boo hooing the backup because they have a man crush on the starter.

Conover had legit offers from top schools in the country. 8 out of 12 of those were from P5 schools not counting BYU. One of those offers was from Alabama. The kids 247 rating was just over .900 Halls was just over .850 and had two offers both local schools.

I would trust our current OC in regards to his progress reporting of Jacob who is still considered a FR on the roster.

I think any positive news out of camp is encouraging that BYU continues to bring in strong QB talent.
