It's amazing how many on here think that losing to UAB had no impact on this
They just don't know, or don't want to admit, how CFB ranking and perception works.
Perception is everything and no one cares how good or bad UAB was. They don't care if we had injuries. They don't care.
BYU, looking for respect, lost to UAB. Therefore, no respect — in fact, they lost quite a bit of respect garnered during the season.

Win games and that will change quickly. Can't be losing to teams like UAB at the end of the season if BYU wants more
