Probably not. Nationwide trends, regardless of how nice the stadium is,
show that more and more people are staying home for games. This is precovid too. People are attending less. Less interest in football? Better TVs and sound at home? More convenient and comfortable at home? Tickets and travel is expensive? Who knows the reason but the phenomenon is real.

Also, Big 12 entry will probably mean more expensive tickets. I imagine double. Significant upgrades to the stadium, or replacing the stadium Usually mean increase ticket prices too.

I honestly don’t think it would increase attendance. I’m going regardless. And I believe the folks aren’t going to the games probably won’t go regardless. Maybe they’ll go to see it once but then they’ll go back to their lazy boy, their big screen, their fridge, Their privacy
