Almost everyone took it as a sophomore. You got the classroom instruction and you got driving hours during class. I am not aware of any high school now where I live that offer Driver's Ed. You have to go out and do everything on your own.

I suppose that if it was still offered in school that a majority of the kids that don't seem interested would have their licenses almost by default.
