He did right by BYU by bringing them into the conversation at all honestly
He was so set on going to USC, but felt prompted to go to ND. It seems he put BYU in the mix to give them good press..
That's beside the point though. He is a really good man who was destroyed by what was an unthinkable and unimaginable lie. He still carries himself like an absolute man.
