The NCAA will NOT be the home of the top division of college football much longer. Looks BYU probably will be "in", and I stand by my belief that four 16 team conferences or two 32 team mega conferences will bolt from the NCAA, It's all about money. The kids are always going to be minimum wage employees in view of the money that'll be generated. It's not love of the game, it's not the best interests of the players, it's all about the money...period. The love of money. Greed. Call it what you will. And I really do believe it'll happen sooner then people think.

The most logical place for the sport to be run outside of the NCAA would be under the auspices of the CFP
A source told ESPN that the general feel among the presidents and chancellors on the call was that the college sports leaders have left too much money on the table by not implementing a new playoff before 2026, perhaps as much as a half-billion dollars.
