Assuming the raid of the ACC is next, the SEC will take Clemson, Florida State

In like 10 years

Nope. Now

It depends if enough schools decide to dissolve the GOR. I think there are 8 schools that could get a hefty raise.

Which 8? I can't see there being 8 teams that the B1G/SEC want to add

Gotta think UVA will be taken because they're raided so highly as a Public Ivy.

For sure them along with UNC are slam dunks for big 10. I don't think either of

North Carolina and Virginia will go to the big 10. FSU and Clemson to the SEC.

If the B1G is at 20+, the SEC will at least get to 20 with FSU, Clemson, Miami+1

It is possible Miami support is not great so it would depend on if they increase

Miami's fanbase is pretty bad, but they show up when the team is really good

Then you have to wait until 2036 (or nearly so) because that doesn't get around the GOR

Nope. The conference would loose it’s GOR if these teams left

Yep. Would need to be 8 and there aren't 8 teams the BIG/SEC would want. So 2 would have to leave the ACC for less $
TEXAS

Bingo. Any discussion needs to start with SEC/B1G taking 8...or waiting until GOR expires

The networks would opt out
travelcoug

networks (meaning espn) would opt out on money?

Don’t count out the B1G
kapcreations
8/18/22 2:11pm
ACC teams can't/won't go to Big 12 unless B1G and SEC take 8+, so it isn't happening anytime soon.

And the pac is stable said you last year
travelcoug
8/18/22 2:34pm
Pac didn't have a 14 year, basically iron clad grant of rights with a 9-figure buy out
TEXAS
8/18/22 2:35pm
If these teams leave there is no basically iron clad seven figure GOR. Smh
travelcoug
8/18/22 2:37pm
which 8 are gonna get an invite to the SEC/Big 10 for it to not be in play? Or are some gonna leave for less money?
TEXAS
8/18/22 2:47pm
Keep in mind they'd not only get less money, they'd also miss out on the huge GOR buyouts from the 4-6 going to B1G/SEC
krindorr
8/18/22 2:57pm
I think it is funny that you don’t think that with those teams leaving
travelcoug
8/18/22 3:28pm
Which ~6 would end up SEC/BIG and which ~2+ would join Big XII for less money? I think it's funny you are letting logic
