I believe August 1 was the deadline for USC and UCLA to join the Big Ten by fall 2024 without any penalties. The Big Ten media deal starts in 2023, so the first year of the new contract will be without USC and UCLA.
I don't see how the PAC 10 can get any sort of decent media deal in place with this hanging over them.
