That is not how it works

Fox, CBS, and NBC have purchased rights to the noon, 3:30, and 7:30 EST slots. None of them own rights to inventory outside of those slots. They get would get preference ahead of ESPN but nothing precludes the B1G for adding additional inventory and contracting another partner like ESPN or Amazon.

Though conference realignment has slowed, it could certainly pick back up in short order
