Carl Lawson from the Jets was just saying the other day, how being back in the stadium was great and it just has a different feeling than practices, gave him the butterflies that he needed to re-acclimate too. I look at it as a dress rehearsal. Go through pre-game the same as game day, half time, clock management, etc. It's why so many college teams play a bad team their first game since there is no preseason, and the teams who do play a comparable opponent, often have mistake filled games in game 1. NFL games look pretty crisp from game one in my view.
