Nine of the 22 currently on the Roster are Freshman and 6 are Sophomores. So 15 of 22 DL are underclassman. You have 7 upperclassman shoring up a DL that was depleted due to graduation, transfers and anything else. When almost 70% of your Defensive Front is new or limited experience it can be tough to bring them in and get them ready. BYU is a top 20 team. They found out yesterday that they are not a top 10 team. That is okay. Expect to see improvements throughout the season and into next year.
