Absolutely the right decision. I personally think he’s shot mentally as a kicker and at this point no way the coaches trust him to make a game winning kick. Jake has won games for BYU,yes, but he hasn’t been anywhere near his 2020 level.

I didn't read the story, but yes if you miss 3 easy kicks you should lose your job. Even a 50/50 kicker
