SDSU is really about the market and recruiting. With USC/UCLA gone, exposure in
LoCal is kinda of close to SoCal. San Diego by itself is a huge market and not that far away.
If the networks want it, they get it. See Rutgers.
Plus lots of California recruits.... the AZ schools need to be playing there regularly.
SDSU isn't great. It is a great city to visit and should get decent XII visiting crowds so it will fill up.
The XII doesn't need top tier or even mid tier teams. It needs markets make the networks happy.
