I have coached close to 100 youth and HS sports teams across 5 different sports.
This includes many girls track, soccer, and basketball teams. Basketball is my favorite to watch. Then comes track (depending on the event), and then soccer.
For boys, I have coached Baseball, Football, Basketball and Track. My ranking for these boys sports starting with most exciting/fun to watch is: 1) Football, 2) Basketball, 3) Track (this could be any number between 2 and 4, depending on the event), 4) Baseball.
