It was so hard to experience her going through this while feeling so helpless to make things better.
We made sure one of us was with her to just talk or play cards, etc. while she was getting her weekly dose. She always appreciated that we cared enough to be there with her. I was surprised how many people had to sit there enduring the chemo treatment alone.

I am happy to say that she is still cancer free 5 years after ringing the bell after her final chemo dose.

I hope & pray that your mother will have a similar good outcome.
