have gone through chemo, chemo is like fingerprints...no treatment is exactly alike. You should be prepared for anything. Some people have a relatively easy time of it, while others go through absolute hell. The best advise I can give you is to be the kind and loving son or daughter you can be. Listen to your Mom. Don't insist on things, just listen and help where you can. I'm sure that you being there is the best thing right now.
