Hopefully, we'll get back to that, but I agree with most posters above that it's not cool to call out a specific player like that on a message board.

There's nothing that the OP or any of us are seeing that the coaches haven't. And they all want to win as badly as any of us fans do. Their careers could depend on it.

And they have insight that we don't have regarding individual personnel, so while we could argue philosophical, schematic or recruiting deficiencies, I personally give the coaches the benefit of the doubt when they claim that they are playing who they believe are the best players to win the game.

Even if a position coach is fixated on one guy, the coordinators and HC would ultimately have to agree and be on the same page and support the decision over the course of a season. Otherwise, changes will be made after giving a guy a legitimate chance.
