Boise was 20 years too early with Kellen Moore. The playoff will eventually
Expand again to 16+ to allow for auto bids for every conference (so the Big 10/SEC champs can have tune up games in the playoff), and that would’ve been the perfect time for Boise to become the upset monster that they were, but they’ve peaked it seems.
Mark my words, there WILL be a G5 playoff Cinderella in the next 5-10 years, but it will likely not be Boise State.
