I've lived in TX for 2 yrs & 16 yrs in OK. Fries w/ BBQ is very, very common.

No it’s properly rated. best in Utah for brisket. Others meats are good.

Lonny Boy's is Hurricane is better. BamBams is pretty much on par with 5 star and RnR
