playing matchup games that keeps the defense off guard. You have to remember that the defense will have to:

1)Recognize who's subbing
2)Decide whether that warrants a change in personnel
3)Then communicate to the players of said sub

And you don't want to have your Defender to need to sprint into position which gets them exhausted for the play.
