Thanks for the input. I wonder what models you've used. These are rated for up
to 1 Gigabit (1,000 mbps). To run 4K the minimum needed is 25 mbps. It seems like there would be plenty of leeway for 4K here. It is worth mentioning that the outlets need to run to the same breaker box to work. Some large homes have 2 different electrical boxes and this solution often won't connect between the 2 separate boxes.

When in doubt though, there are many other good options like running your own Cat5/6e cables or doing a mesh system.
