I'm not making excuses for DL Play. Just saying that argument didn't exist.

I think it is trending the right way since 2020 class. 2017 season wrecked recruiting for 2 years, in particular the DL. THat year was part of the reason we see the DL issues we do now. Go look at DL recruits in 2018 class. and even 2019 at that position. Other positions got better in 2019 class. THen 2021 and 2022 were solid and 2023 looks better still.

Just need to get some better DT/NT guys in and quickly. Gonna lose a lot of what we have now in 2023.

FOr 2022 we are stuck with what we got. ND and Arkansas are gonna really test Tuiaki. No hiding in those games either.

We weren't in the B12 and we had what was perhaps the smallest recruiting staff in D1 football until about 6 months
