"Amazon reportedly bid more for the Big Ten's 3:30 p.m. ET and primetime windows compared to other suitors. Those windows went to CBS and NBC, respectively.
If the Big Ten indeed turned down such an offer, the concerns were likely distribution and visibility. Those same concerns would be in play if the Big Ten accepted the four additional Pac-12 schools."
That is pretty surprising to me. I've always seen Amazon as looking for a value/money-ball play with CFB media rights. But they were top bidder for top-tier content . . . and didn't get it.
It shifts my view of what they might pay for B10 content in other timeslots or just down the pecking order.
P12 is probably toast. . . but also Amazon might be more viable option for revenue to the P12 if it can hang together.
