0-400 method. Put them on the smoker cold and set heat to 400.
By the time the grill hits 400 they should be or will almost be ready to go.

Not sure how a Traeger works but I cold smoke them and then ride up the temp until they hit 145/150 degrees.

BTW even if you smoke them, they're always better if you flash fry them to finish.

I smoke at like 225-250 til they are done

Chicken really doesn't have fat to render, so you should smoke them a lot hotter

I do 275 until internal temp of 155. The char them on the grill.
