If they really ket him sling it i think he would have ridiculous TD and yardage numbers but also more ints. He is at his best when the put the ball in his hands and let him throw downfield. I think they game plan specifically to limit turnovers (they know the defense sucks). That is why we see so many safe and easy passes to the flat or behind the line of scrimmage and they dont have him throw to the middle of the field often.

Also why they run on 3rd and long so often. They seem to prefer to punt if they have a third and long rather than let hall try to throw for a first down. They just concede on 3rd and long and are content to punt it away. Which is dumb when you have a QB like hall who is at his best when he is allowed to throw down the field. I also think hall is at his best when throwing on the run.

I think he would be in the heisman race if the coaches turned him loose and let him chuck it more and chuck it more aggressively (take more chances with riskier throws)
