I’m confused. How does a player who injured our star earn reverence? Even if it wasn’t malicious?
Just the fact he died from cancer doesn’t mean he earned reverence. You can defend his two plays as freak accidents for sure. Maybe there was no maliciousness in the tackles. When I watched it live it appeared to be malicious, particularly when it was two back to back seasons with the exact same player injuring Taysom. But maybe just a crazy coincidence.
Sorry he passed away, but doesn’t change anything with the plays that caused injury.
