You wouldn’t trade an all-NBA player for a #1 pick

The idea that Dallas would trade Doncic is crazy. Look at the past 15 #1 picks - there isn’t even 1 player I’d trade Doncic for if they were a 19 year old in the draft today. Unless they are on the downside of their career (LeBron) there is just too much risk. Look at the history of #1/2 picks over time, they don’t always work out. Even sure things (Zion, for example) just don’t always hit.
