There is a new rumor today that beginning in 2024 UCLA will be playing a couple of their home games at Sofi stadium and then over the next couple years after that they will transition completely from the Rose Bowl to Sofi stadium. This apparently is a huge push by the B1G. There’s apparently a buyout with the Rose Bowl which can only host 15 events a year of 20,000 or more people, and there are concerts that sell out the whole stadium that could replace football games. The rumor is that the buyout is not as much as people would think.
