Not really. It shows he did enough to win 5 games and just lose 2.
He hasn't been awesome, but he has done enough to not lose games for the Jets. Winning matters most. Trent Dilfer won a Super Bowl being a game manager with the defense he had. Right now, the Jets need something similar, so we will see how it goes with the back-up.
Benching him now is dumb. You need to let him take his lumps and see how he bounces back. Now, no bounce back shot here, and the vultures are circling.
