I had to wait 3mo for a new motor in a 12yr old car. It sucks.
If you can borrow a car from a family member or friend that is ideal. Or it's a great excuse to get an electric bike (not ideal depending on your climate right now).
Definitely don't buy a new vehicle right now if you don't need to.
