They’re really saying: what would US soccer be like if our best athletes played
soccer rather than football and basketball from a young age.
You know that of course. The U.S. has the best athletes in the world with the best sports training. It would be a superpower in soccer if it had the same buy in for soccer as for basketball and real football.
Not sure that would entirely overcome lame child labor laws that hinder U.S. soccer but you know what they’re saying and they’re absolutely correct.
