Conference Champion goes though. Runner up has an outside shot of getting through. I think most conferences are doing away with divisions and are going to pit the top 2 teams against each other in the conference championship game... that gives everyone an incentive. And the 6 at-large spots should be decided based on a computer generated model of sorts... we need to take the decision making for these games, out of the hands of ESPN/ABC and Fox.

Also, while bowl games are fun... it's time to dump a significate number of them. And those that remain need to start paying the athletes to play in them. Because too many players are opting out of them, offer insurance and NIL pay and we may see less opting out.
