Absolutely it was. BYU returned one of the most experienced teams. 9 wins was

the absolute minimum for a successful season. Instead BYU got annihilated by Liberty, lost at home to ECU, couldn’t get a stop against Oregon or Arkansas, and lost to a Notre Dame that just got beat by Marshall and would lose to Stanford right after.
