I believe Holmoe has gone on record saying they do prefer pre-Christmas bowls so
the team can get the season over with and be with family.
Sure that’s nice for the players and coaches. But also a very weak excuse. Not many P5 football programs would sacrifice a better opponent, with more exposure and $$$ in a better bowl game, so they can play before Christmas.
It’s pretty annoying.
